The reason is that new posts will become old posts and relevant information linked to another website/subdomain (here on gd or any) may go down. When you try to have firefox save your password for GD it fucks up the username in the saved password list, Which also fucks with all saved passwords you already have: Click Me:

Since the forum update I've noticed that when I view a thread it doesn't get marked as read, the only way threads get marked as read is if I idle the forums for ages or click the 'mark all read' thing at the bottom. It's not a major problem but a problem nonetheless.

Why does the new posts button show me 3 pages of threads that I've read instead of just posts that are actually new and unread. example: Extremely annoying.

I've installed the groan addon to vbulletin, use it for jerks who don't contribute to the forum. Don't abuse either of them though. There is a max of 5 groans and 15 thanks per day per user. Groans decrease your reputation and thanks obviously increase it. Thanks still increase your post...
